Delftwood Baronial Investiture Feast and Yule Celebration

The Barony of Delftwood welcomes one and all to our annual Yule Celebration, where all are invited to compete in the Peace Tournament for the Arts & Sciences, and the Baronial Arts & Science and the Baronial Bardic Champions will be chosen on this day as well. A hearty day board of simple fare will be provided by Lady Ghita Rinaldi de Amici.

But wait! There’s more! The NY State Fair’s food/catering policies from last February and illnesses in March can’t stop us from celebrating our new Baron and Baroness, Ixac and Amalie… Only delay it a little, so…

The Investiture Feast Part of The Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins – a Delayed Celebration (by 8 months!) of Gluttony and Pride Welcome to the FEAST part of the Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins. Lord Wolfgang von Wylderwoode will provide the Feast based on dishes from Venice.

Merchants are welcome at no additional charge. The site is ADA compliant, on one floor, and ample parking is available. There is a bar on site. Smoking is allowed in the bar/canteen area as this is considered a private club. All alcohol must be purchased from the bar. Only service animals are permitted. There are no open flames permitted. The event will be held in one large room.

Event Fees:
Adult (18+) Registration $30.00 includes day board.
Adult member discount Registration $20.00 includes day board
Youth 5-17 and Students with College/Trade School ID Registration $10.00
Children under 5 – Free

Feast (limited to 48 people) There will be an area set aside for those choosing to be off board.

Reservations are encouraged. Make checks payable to SCA-NY Barony of Delftwood, and can be mailed to PO Box 6694, Syracuse NY 13217. An online unpaid reservation form may be posted closer to the event, but the only guaranteed reservation and feast seat is a paid one.
