Hail, good folk of Delftwood!

Summer’s sun rides high, and with it comes the season of steel, song, and storm. As the fields green and the horns sound, we bid all of you—our stalwart kin and kindred spirits—to gather for deeds of worth and days of glory.

First among these shall be Blades & Brews II, held by our valiant Canton of Dunloch. There, amid cheer and challenge, shall we hold our Baronial Heavy Weapons Championship. Let it be known across AEthelmearc’s Region 5 that all authorized warriors are welcome to step onto the field and test their mettle beneath the gaze of Their Excellencies. Let strength, honor, and heart determine who shall bear the warbanner of Delftwood!

But the tale does not end there, for the Pennsic War looms on the horizon. Soon we march to join our kingdom’s host beneath the scarlet banners of Æthelmearc. Whether you wield sword or needle, bow or book, your presence is a boon to the Barony. Let none say Delftwood stood idle when the horns of war did call.

And as the fires of Pennsic cool, we turn to the hallowed field of the Seven Pearls Tournament, where our champions will stand among the best of the Kingdom. We have no doubt Delftwood’s finest will shine like polished steel.

Lastly, we call all marksmen and throwers of true aim to gather at our own event: Line of Fire. There, amid the flight of arrows and the thud of axes, we shall choose our Baronial Archery and Thrown Weapons Champions. Let the strong step forward, and the worthy rise.

Steel your hearts, ready your gear, and let the summer be etched in saga and song. We are proud to stand beside you, now and always.

In strength, in service,
William Fitz William, Baron of Delftwood
Mistress Oðindisa Býkona, Baroness of Delftwood
