A record of the Court Proceedings of Their Excellencies of Delftwood, Propraetor Marcus Claudius Cincinnatus and Propraetrix Desiderata Drake at the Tournament of the Windmill upon the Eighteenth day of June, 2017 AS 52. Presented by the acting Herald, Meisterin Felicitas Fluβmüllnerin.
Court was loudly opened beneath the Greenwood, so as to draw the attention of the fighters there present who were loath to leave their trials.
Their Excellencies bid welcome to the assembled crowds.
Baron Marcus bid any children brave enough to come forth, whereby Baroness Desi, feeling the children might need to fuel their bravery, offered them windmill cookies, which were shared forth with gusto.
Their Windmill Excellencies then asked any for whom this was their first event to come forward into their presence. Several visitors for the day were gifted with a token from Her Excellency and invited to join us again in our revelries, should they be so moved.
The Herald then took an informal polling of the masses assembled to find the gentle who had participated the longest in the Society. Baron Aidan Ransford was declared the winner and was thanked with the gift of an oil lamp for maintaining a guiding light for Our Barony for so many years.
Her Excellency, Baroness Desiderata, then stood to thank all of the fathers who took time to come to our event on Father’s Day. This sentiment was met with rousing applause.
The Windmill Thrones then requested they be attended by their current Heavy Weapons Champion: The Honorable Lord Finnr jafnkollr, who was thanked for his year of service and divested. Then one, The Thorsol, was called forward and asked if he was still willing to stand as Champion of Delftwood. The Family Fluβmüllner: Fridrich, Fela, and Frytz were then called forward and given Millstones for their hard work and dedication to the Barony, especially in volunteering to assist their wife and mother on a day of Celebration for Fathers.
Othidisa Bykona was then called into the presence of The Baron and Baroness and thanked for her years of research and teaching the art of the bees to the Barony and lands beyond. Court was then suspended until the arrival of Sabastian Mora, whom Their Excellencies wished to have words with. A crowd assembled, they saw fit to induct this good servant as a Companion of the Order of the Windmill. Scroll by Felice de Thornton, Calligraphy by Meisterin Felicity.
