Being the report of the Court of Their Excellencies, Marcus Claudius Cincinnatus and Desiderata Drake, by the grace of the crown 11th Propraetor and Propraetrix of Delftwood. Documented: The Business of the Court of Their Excellencies at Tournament of the Windmill, 11th of June Anno Societatis LI. As recorded by Lady Margarita Carpintero, Windmill Pursuivant, with the assistance of Lady Wylde Wysse.
Their Excellencies first sought to welcome all those for whom this was their first event. In total, four individuals (and one puppy) stepped forward and were warmly greeted to the Barony.
After greeting the newcomers, the youth of Delftwood were then asked to come forward. There were six children in attendance
Their Excellencies then sought to determine which person in attendance has been participating in the SCA for the longest. After playing a short game, it was determined that The Honorable Lady Solveig Thondardottir was the winner, having joined the Society 40 years ago.
Their Excellencies then wished to call attention to the service of a few individuals at recent events held in Delftwood and reward them with a Millstone: Lady Saskia Feldmeyerin for her dishwashing services at The Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins, Lord Michael Gladewyne, Fela Flußmüllnerin and Frytz Flußmüllner for their work at Crown Tourney, and finally, Master Benedict Fergus atte Mede, The Honorable Lord Finnr jafnkollr, and Meisterin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin for their service that day.
Their Excellencies then thanked first-time autocrats, Lady Saskia Feldmeyrin and Lady Katerina Beckerin, who in turn gave thanks to the populace and everyone who had helped at the event. Baroness Helene Mützhasenin, a first-time feastocrat, also gave her thanks to her kitchen staff.
The co-autocrats then announced the two winners of the Bayeux Tapestry themed Arts and Sciences competition. Lady Wylde Weiss took home the prize for the populace vote, and Lady Genevieve de Chaumont was chosen as the Propraetorii’s choice.
Meisterrin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin was then called forward to announce the winner of the Garb Competition. However, rather than choosing an individual winner, it was the team effort of Glenna and Kiera of Delftwood that took home the prize.
Finally, their Excellencies thanked Baron Fridrich Flußmüllner for nearly a year of service as their heavy weapons Champion and was relieved of his duty. Before investing their new champion, The Honorable Lord Finnr jofnkoller, a former champion, Master Benedict Fergus atte Mede, had a few words with the new champion over his new position and duties.
Thus having no further business, the court of Their Excellencies, Marcus Claudius Cincinnatus and Desiderata Drake, was closed.
