Their excellencies welcomed all to the event, particularly Their Majesties, Their Highnesses, and the assembled Baronages from across Æthelmearc.

Their excellencies spoke of the deep love of fencing in St. Swithin’s Bog. As such, they were pleased to be able to award the Seven Pearls Fencing Champion. They called forth Master Eric Grenier de La Barre, Champion for Thescorre, and named him the Seven Pearls Fencing Champion. The court of Verdi and Fiona was resumed.
Their excellencies spoke of their love of heralds. They called forth Mistress Ælfra Long, spoke of her continued service to the Seven Pearls, and gave her a token of thanks.

The court of Ichijo and Cerridwyn was resumed.
Their Excellencies thanked all the marshals who ran the lists and the ranges.
Their Excellencies noted their pride in having held onto the Seven Pearls Heavy Weapons Championship for multiple years, but also that there was a new victor. They summoned Lotharius qui et Segimundes, Champion of the Barony of Endless Hills, and named him Seven Pearls Heavy Weapons Champion. Scroll by THL Kathryn MacLuing.

The Court of Padraig and Juliana was resumed.
As both of Their Excellencies are service-oriented, they thanked those who did the lifting and the “grunt work” at the event.
They then spoke of the Arts and Sciences displayed by the Champions of the seven Baronies, and how difficult it was to choose a winner. They called forth aurelia Agentia Prima, Champion of the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands, and named her Seven Pearls Arts and Sciences Champion. Scroll by Caleb Reynolds.

The Court of Their Exellencies Eldjarn and Dubheasa resumed.
Their Excellencies spoke of the hard work of those working the gate, and thanked Elizabeth the Nameless and her staff.
Their Excellencies spoke of their love of archery. They then summoned Tadeuz of the Rhydderich Hael, Champion of the Rhydderich Hael, and named him the Seven Pearls Archery Champion. Scroll by Lady Drusilla Vettia Portia.

The Court of their Exellencies Brandubh and Hilderun resumed.
Their Excellencies thanked the Ministers of the Lists, Freiherrin Helena Mützhasen and Meisterin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin, who kept the tournaments running.
Their Exccellenies then explained they had the honor of naming the Seven Pearls Thrown Weapons Champion. They sought Duncan MacCoulagh, Champion of the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands, to name him as the Seven Pearls Thrown Weapons Champion. The court of Their Excellencies Ixac and Amalie resumed.
Baron Ixac spoke of a tradition at Delftwood events where gentles could take a token when checking in the event and give it to one who inspired the gentle that day.
Master Benedict Fergus atte Mede begged a boon in court while inspiration was being discussed. He spoke about a gentle he saw on the fencing list – the first time at a Seven Pearls tournament many years ago. Master Fergus spoke of the growth of the gentle’s skill in the lists, then gave a special personal token to the gentle: Master Caleb Reynolds.
Their Excellencies then gave to Their Majesties and Their Highnesses cookies marked with windmills as sustenance for the trip home.
Their Excellencies then called forth Lady Wylde Wysse and her gang, who gifted on behalf of Delftwood hand made wooden tables to each of the other Baronies, each painted with the recipient Barony’s heraldry. Their Excellencies also gave out Deadly Sin Spawn, a home-brewed beverage made by Lady Catalina Carpintero de Diaz to the assembled baronages and royalty.
Lady Wylde Wysse was then asked to remain in court, whereupon Their Excellencies inducted her into the Order of the Capstan. Scroll illuminated by Lady Catherin O’Herlihy and calligraphed by Freiherrin Helena Mützhasen.
Their Excellencies then sought out their Event Stewards, Mistress Ođindisa Bykona and Lady Glenna Cholmondeley of Delftwood. Who thanked all who came, and those who helped make the event a success.
Their Excellencies also asked for Baron Marcus Claudius Cincinnatus and Dame Desiderata Drake, who facilitated the Seven Pearls portion of the event. They thanked the marshals, the staff, the event stewards, and noted that the events were scheduled to end at 4 PM, and the final performance ended at 4:02.
As with tradition, Their Excellencies sought out individuals who went above and beyond while at the event to give them Millstones as tokens of thanks. They recognized the Honorable Lady Lasairfhiona inghean Aindrias, Baron Cunedda Kell, Lord Dubhgall Domnall MacNayre, Lady Gulsah al-Zakiyya on behalf of the Blue Phoenix Company, and Lady Illyria of Delftwood.
After the Honorable Lady Lasairfhiona inghean Aindrias was fetched from the kitchen, Their Excellencies bid her stay a moment. They noted her continued presence in Delftwood kitchens over many years as well as other service to the Barony, though she does not live there. They gave her a mug as a token of thanks for her service.
Finally, Their Excellencies noted a slight expansionist, land-grabbing claim of a certain bakery in the Shire of Coppertree. They called for any of the Populace of the Shire of Coppertree to accept a peace offering and apology in the form of home-made baklava, they were gladdened to hear of the provisional acceptance of the apology. Samples of the peace offering were also made available to the present Royalty and assembled Landed Baronages.

On the 1st Day of September:
Court was resumed.
Their Excellencies welcomed all to court for the second day of the event.
All the children present were called into court, where they were given cookies for snacks. Those that participated in the monster shoot were also given toys, and the ancestral arrow was presented to the youngest archer along with the story of its origin. The archer was tasked to bring it to the Shoot in the Wildwood the next year so as to pass it on again.
Their Excellencies sought out any of those for whom it was their first event or first court (who had not been noticed the previous day by Their Majesties), and bestowed mugs upon those newcomers.
Baron Ixac explained the tradition of taking a token at the Gate and giving it to any person that inspired them during the event.
Their Excellencies sought out the competitors of the Rustic competition and presented them with tokens for entering. Upon noting that there was a lone competitor, Helena Mützhasen, they named her the winner and gave a gift of a sewing box. They also noted that she accepted the additional challenge of working “42” into the entry, so gave her a special towel.
The Honorable Lady Svanna in kyrra was invited into court to discuss the largesse competition. She thanked the entrants and named the winner, by populace choice, to be Lady Catalina Carpintero de Diaz.
Their Excellencies then sought out the presence of Lord Corwyn Alexander Templeton, Archery Marshal in Charge and Lord Robert of Ferness to discuss various shoots.
Victor of the Night Shoot was Lord Robert of Ferness, who was given a hand-painted arrow made by Lord Corwyn Alexander Templeton
Victor of the Overall Archery Contest was Lady Katheryn Tantzel, who was given a hand-painted arrow made by Lord Corwyn Alexander Templeton
Victor of the Squares and Triangles shoot was a tie between Master Urho Waltterinen and Lord Godfrey, who were given square- and triangle- gifts.
Their Excellencies asked for the presence of their current Argery Champion, Dubhgall Domnall MacNayre. He was divested of his regalia, released from service, and (belatedly) explained his shoot.
Finding a vacancy, Their Excellencies called forth Eoin MacCogadhián and invested him as Baronial Archery Champion. Scroll illuminated by Elizabeth the Nameless, and calligraphed by Meisterin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin.
Their Excelliences sought the presence of their current Thrown Weapons Champion, Celsus of Delftwood. He explained his throw, was divested of his regalia, and released from service.

Their Excellencies asked for the presence of their current Heavy Weapons Champion, Freiherr Fridrich Flußmüllner. He explained his tournament, was divested of his regalia, and released from service.
Finding a vacancy, Their Excellencies sought out Conchobar of Delftwood, and invested him as Baronial Heavy Weapons Champion. Scroll illuminated by Caleb Reynolds and calligraphed by Freiherr Fridrich Flußmüllner.
Their Excellencies awarded Millstones to the following gentles: Baron Artemius Andreas Magnus, Baroness Clarice Roan, Lord Eoin MacCogadhián, Marmot, Connor MacNarye, Keara Caitlyn MacLeod, Abel, Megge Gormshuileach, and Bob of Wildwood.
While they were discussing exemplary individual acts of service, Their Excellencies re-called Lord Dubhgall Domnall MacNayre and gave him a special key to “do it all” for the person who “does it all”.
They then continued noting individual acts of service, and sought out Conchobar, noting how he hammered out dents from the loaner armor, so gave him a Hammer of Fixing as a token of thanks.
Their Excellencies then asked for those in charge of Cast Iron Chef: Edelvrowwe Lijsbet de Keukere, Lord Sabastian Mora, and Baby Nora also called Betkin.
For the special help that only a 2-year-old can give, Betkin “got a unicorn, look!”
The Cast Iron Chef team gave congratulations to all participants, and noted the very close scores. They thanked Their Excellencies Ixac and Amalie, the Event Stewards, those who donated food and gear, those who helped set up, the gophers, the judges, and all those who participated.
Whose cuisine reigns supreme? There can be only one: Arthes of the Debatable Lands, Skjoldbjorn, and Katheryn Tantzel The archer gift of a bow and leg quiver was made by Lady Caitlyn of Delftwood, while the cooks received a basket containing an Anglo-Saxon flour blend donated by Fionnghuala inghean Diarmada, cast iron and seasonings donated by Lijsbet de Keukere.
Baron Ixac declared that Baron’s Choice was the team of: Dagonell the Juggler, Magdalena Tyoperena de Guerra and Simonetta d’Alfassi, who were given a token.
Baroness Amalie declared that Baroness’s Choice was the team of: Feggi Farmađr, Feggi Farmađr, and Feggi Farmađr, who was given a token.
The Cast Iron Chef team noted they had tokes for all the archers who participated in the shoot, that teams would receive feedback and scores after court, that they would need help tearing down and cleaning up, and that for a donation of $5 (which would be used to buy Cast Iron Chef VI supplies) anyone could raid the pantry for leftovers and cook over the group fire.
The Event Stewards, Mistress Ođindisa Bykona and Lady Glenna Cholmondeley of Delftwood, were called into court and were given tokens of thanks for all that they did over the event. The Event Stewards noted they forgot a name on the list of people they recommended for Millstones: a gentle who set up, cleaned up, toted, carried, and was of great service to the event, despite his many other duties. With permission from Her Excellency Amalie, a Millstone was awarded to Baron Ixac ben Simone.
Baron Ixac then took a moment to thank his beloved Baroness Amalie for all she did to him. He also noted it was her birthday, and called forth a cake appropriate to the occasion. The populace sang in honor of Her Excellency’s birthday.
There being no further court business, but much-needed cake-eating business, court was closed.
