Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins: Venetian Carnivale
Please join Delftwood for the Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins on February 21, 2026 at our AMAZING NEW SITE: The Wegmans Art & Home Building at the Great New York State Fairgrounds! With about 20,000 square feet, we have room for everything: fencing (of course), heavy fighting, bardic performances on stage, merchants, courtesans, a living artists’ display, vigils, a scroll blank competition, largesse competition, and more! It’s also the Investiture of Ixac and Amalie as Baron and Baroness! The site is fully-accessible through ramps and elevators. Site opens to the public at 9AM and closes at 9PM.
Important food note: THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC DAYBOARD OR FEAST. NO food may be sold by SCAdians or our guests on site. Please feel free to bring your own food to share amongst your beloveds, but channel Temperance instead of Gluttony – it shouldn’t look like you’re trying to feed the masses from your personal snacks! Vigil food is implied to be shared amongst beloveds and not provided by event staff. The Fairgrounds are very close to many restaurants, grocery stores, and places to get food, including a Byrne Dairy with a fresh deli right across the street. Nearby Restaurants
Important alcohol note: Alcohol must be purchased from the alcohol concessions provider at the event. No other alcohol can be brought on site or consumed on site. Since the NYS Fairgrounds are directly overseen by New York State, there can be NO EXCEPTIONS.
Open flames are not permitted.

Adult (18+) Site Fee with SCA Member Discount: $25.00
Youth (6-17): $15.00
Children (0-5): No Event Fee
Families pay for at most two youths.

Directions: The New York State Fairgrounds have their own exit off of I-690 in Syracuse. Follow signs for fairgrounds.

Parking: Parking directly near the building will be reserved for Royalty, Baronage, Accessible Parking, and High-level Staff. We will have space for loading and unloading before moving your car to nearby ample parking. If there are other events at other buildings on the Fairgrounds, Fair representatives may direct you where to park.

1:30pm Bardic Voices of Valor class and Dance begin (we’re sorry to conflict!)
5:00pm Evening Court Begins (~5:00-8:00pm)
7:00pm Cash Bar and Merchants close
8:00pm Pack up and say your final farewells of the evening
9:00pm Site closes to the Populace – seek your dinner, or stay to help with teardown!
