Gallimaufry Cooks’ Guild
Baronial Cook’s Guild
Azure, a cauldron argent charged with a bunch of two cherries gules, slipped and leaved vert.
From the Society Herald Archivist (Dec 2020):
The doc for the name is as follows:
Gallimaufry is a term from the sixteenth century for a hash or hotpot made of scraps from the larder or from a variety of meats.
Orde van de Blauwe Spoel
This is currently an inactive order in the Barony.
Per bend azure and argent, a pair of calipers and a harp counterchanged.
From the Society Herald Archivist (Dec 2020):
This meant to be an award for ‘arts and sciences’, and the original name submitted was the phrase ‘Orde van Kunst en Wtenschop’. It was supposed to be the phrase ‘Order for the Arts and Sciences’ in Dutch. Since that was ruled not a period form for an award name, they resubmitted it under ‘Orde van de Blauw Spoel’, which is Dutch for ‘Order of the Blue Spindle’ but kept the same badge. This information is gleaned from the submissions paperwork. There are two pages of signatures on a petition of support for this award name and badge.
