If I could be anyone in history, I would love to do a stint as Queen Isabella I of Spain. I’d like to have a “do over” with that Spanish Inquisition (not a proud moment) Having the ability to leave a legacy in the arts and a little thing like sending a sailor to discover a “new world” ain’t too shabby. And the clothes…..total BA!!!

What do you like most about being in the SCA?
This is an easy one…just the other night I mentioned the thing I like most about being in the SCA is that I constantly learn new things from all its citizens. Last week, I learned that musical instruments all are in different keys??? Say what?

Everyone has been so welcoming and so willing to teach. I still don’t have that drop spindle mastered yet, but I’m not giving up. I mastered scroll case making (thank you, Your Excellency) and thanks to Margarita for her limitless patience with me!
