My favorite things to do in the SCA are:
I enjoy a variety of SCA arts, especially illumination and calligraphy, for which I’m best known. I also love music, fiber arts and what I like to call “academic shopping”. I enjoy the pursuit of crafting a perfectly period space at an event with no visible modernities. I research medieval household items and try to find replicas or similar items for our table. My newest interest is archery (crossbow) and I’m looking forward to competing in next year’s season. I love all aspects of heraldry, include name and device research as well as voice heraldry. Other areas of interest include cooking, clothing construction and the study of timekeeping, calendars and medieval calculation.

I participate/have interest(s) in the following activities:
Arts & Sciences, Archery, Scribal Arts, Heraldry, and general hooliganism

If I could be anyone in (period) history , I would be…
If I could wake up and actually *be* a medieval person, I would want to spend a day as a member of the middling nobility in 13th century Swabia. I would most treasure the opportunity to observe the ordinary every day details of that style of medieval life.

If, instead, I had to live the life of a famous medieval person, I would like to be Christine de Pisan – publisher, artist and all around strong woman.

If you saw me at an SCA event, I most likely would be…
Either bellowing loudly as a herald, plotting deviously, or smiling contentedly at the prospect of being “home” in the Known World.

The top item on my “SCA bucket list” to try is…
Heck, anything I haven’t tried yet!

What do you like most about being in the SCA?
The fact that there are *so many* avenues of pursuit. The SCA is a huge banquet of interests, people, cultures and traditions. A dozen lifetimes wouldn’t suffice to exhaust all that the SCA has to offer.

Delftwood rocks because…
We don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Other information I would like to share with the public:
The dates of our meetings and next event so that you can join in the fun!
