Being the report of the Court of Their Excellencies, Benedecit Fergus Atte Meade and Helene al-Zarqa, by the grace of the crown 10th baron and baroness of Delftwood. Documented: The Business of The Court of Their Excellencies at the Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins, 7 February Anno Societatis XLIX. As recorded by Lord Marcus Claudius Cincinnatus, Windmill Pursuivant.

In the lists during the day:

Their Excellencies called forth Lord Matthew the Wrong. They spoke of his excellent service as their rapier champion, but found his term of service to be at its end. So speaking, they divested him of his regalia, and released him from their service.

Lord Heero Himoura was summoned forth, and all assembled were informed, that Lord Heero had won the contest to determine Lord Matthew’s successor, and so invested him as their Baronial Rapier Champion.

Afternoon Court:

Their Excellencies welcomed the assembled populace, and expressed their gratitude to all for attending.

Those gentles attending their first event were summoned forth and given tokens as both welcome and reminders of their first day in these, the current Middle Ages.

Their Excellencies did then determine which of the populace in attendance had traveled the furthest to attend the day’s festivities, and provided them with sustenance for their journey home.

Lady Amalie Reinhardt came forth and begged to be allowed to award prizes to the winners of the day’s Scribal challenge. Their Excellencies agreed, and Wylde Wysse, Lord Giles Fortescue de Wyntersett were brought forth and appropriately awarded.

Lord Will Death was called forth and named the overall winner of the day’s Rapier contest.

Millstones were presented to Lord Richard MacFearghus, Lord William Gobsin, Lady Arsinoe…., Lord Aidan Ransford and Ixac ben Simon for their extra efforts in making sure the day went smoothly for all.

Their Excellencies summoned forth Lord William Gobsin. They noted his many works of service to Delftwood, and that he was frequently to be found lugging, toting, or just generally helping. For this, the named him a Companion of the Order of the Windmill.

Lady Eleanora de Rosewycke was invited before Their Excellencies.  They noted that she had been a long time resident of Delftwood, and that the borders of her homeland moved, though she had not, and neither had her heart. Thus, they did name her an Honorary Citizen of Delftwood.

The Order of the Mistral was commanded to present themselves.  Their Excellencies addressed the populace and noted, that to be recognized as a Mistral, is to be recognized as a part of the driving force and spirit of Delftwood.  So speaking, Their Excellencies found it time to recognize one such gentle, and did instruct Lord Aidan Ransford to present himself, and be created a Companion of the Mistral for his many years of quiet service to the barony.

Their Excellencies noted that while it was traditional to recognize only one new Mistral per year, circumstances forced them to part with that tradition. Before dismissing The Order of the Mistral, they requested the presence of one who could speak for Lord Jarrah ibn Zakariya al-Hamadani.  Baronsfru Othindisa Bykona presented herself, and with the permission of the Baronage, addressed the populace as to the many wonderful qualities of Lord Jarrah. Moved by the memory of the inspiration of Lord Jarrah, Their Excellencies named him a companion of the Mistral.

Their Excellencies addressed the populace and reminded them that their second year as Baronage was coming to a close, and had chosen to announce that they would not be seeking a second term as the Baronage of Delftwood.
