Being the report of the Court of Their Excellencies, Benedecit Fergus Atte Meade and Helene al-Zarqa, by the grace of the crown 10th baron and baroness of Delftwood. Saturday Court:

Their Excellencies welcomed the assembled populace, and expressed their gratitude to all for attending. They remarked that many sharp objects had taken flight that day, and that they were well satisfied that the populace would be able to defend the borders of the Barony.

Those gentles attending their first event were summoned forth and given tokens as both welcome and reminders of their first day in these, the current Middle Ages.

Their Excellencies did then determine which of the populace in attendance had traveled the furthest to attend the day’s festivities, and provided them with sustenance for their journey home.

Their Excellencies Invited into their court, the Autocrats of the weekend’s festivities, Lady Aleidis Lanen and Lord Ráðúlfr Eiríksson. The autocrats expressed their gratitude for the many gentles that had helped them in making the weekend a success.

Noticing the many young archers participating in the day’s festivities, Their Excellencies found it time to fulfill the barony’s tradition of presenting the ancient arrow to the youngest archer of the day. The tale, was read, describing to all the meaning of the colors of the arrow. Unto Cornelia, was the arrow presented, made by the hand of Thyri Oddsdottir and bestowed by Lord Edward the Grey of Greyledge. Cornelia was charged with the care of the arrow for one full year, whereupon she was to return to these lands, and pass forward the arrow to the next youngest archer.


Their Excellencies summoned forth Lord Michael Gladewyne. Lord Michael spoke of the Seven Pearls Archery Championship held that day. He told of how the Assembled Champions were set upon a quest to collect the most pearls through many challenges. After the final pearl had been collected and the sums counted, Lord Ichikiro of the Barony Marche of the Debateable Lands was declared this year’s Seven Pearls archery champion.

Skippy Sinisterhand was summoned before Their Excellencies, but was not to be found. Master Caleb Reynolds came forward and volunteered to speak for “his twin” Skippy. Their Excellencies noted that there had been a thrown weapons contest that day, of which, Skippy had been the victor. Their Excellencies asked His Excellency Caleb to pass to Skippy his due reward as the tournament victor.

Baron Fergus addressed the populace and reminded them of the challenge he and Her Excellency had issued at the Tournament of the Windmill, to try their hands at new marshal activities. So speaking, Baroness Othindissa Bykona, The Honorable Lord Ruslan Voronov, Baron Boris Dragonsbane, Arsinoe, Amber and Brianna were called forth and presented tokens to note their achievements in defending the barony.

Their Excellencies presented Millstones to Meisterrin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin, Dame Jennet the Gentle and Arsinoe for going above and beyond to be sure the event went smoothly for all.

Their Excellencies invited Lady Genevieve de Chaumont. They pointed out Lady Genevieve’s skill and artistry with the arts fiber. Her willingness to share her knowledge in these arts had also caught Their Excellencies’ attention. Thus motivated, Their Excellencies did name Lady Genevieve a companion of the Capstan.

Lord Ráðúlfr Eiríksson was summoned before Their Excellencies. They spoke of his dedication to the thrown weapons program in Delftwood, and his ever growing skill on the range.  For his this dedication and skill, Their Excellencies did name Ráðúlfr Eiríksson a companion of the Millguard.

Their Excellencies thanked all those in attendance for joining the Barony this day. However, they warned, there was more fun to be had by returning the next day.

Sunday Court:

Their Excellencies thanked all those in attendance for joining the Barony for another day of sharp and pointy activities.

Their Excellencies were disturbed to learn of rogue creatures within the borders of Delftwood, including a Wooly Mammoth. However, the safety of the barony was assured by the Mammoth felling Atl-Atl skills of Lord Jan Langhe ten Walde.  Upon learning of Lord Jan’s fete of skill, he was summoned forth and awarded appropriately for being the victor of the Atl-Atl Battle.

Their Excellencies commanded before them, their archery champion Reinaldr Bjortapper. Their Excellencies congratulated Lord Reinaldr for his service as their champion, but found his term of service had expired. Therefore, they divested him of his Regalia as champion and released him from their court, with gratitude for his excellent service.

Finding themselves without an archery champion Arsinoe he kai Antigone Nothou tou kai Philoromaeou Kallinikou, was called forward. Their Excellencies told the assembled populace of Arsinoe’s skill and grace upon the Archery field and, so seeing these things, they were moved to invest her as their new Archery Champion, and instructed her to join their court.

Her Excellency noted that one of the creatures that had been known to walk the Lands of the Mills during this weekend, had been captured.  Knowing the skill of the young populace at hand, she bade them go forth at the close of court, and subdue the mighty Pinata beast.

Their Excellencies again thanked all for attending, and those who had worked so hard to create a wonderful weekend for all.
