Barony of Delftwood

Being the Report of the Final Court of Their Excellencies, Edward Harbinger and Anastasie de Lamoure, by the grace of the Crown of Æthelmearc Ninth Baron and Baroness of Delftwood, held at The Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins in Their Barony of Delftwood on the 2nd day of February A.S. 47. Mistress Alheydis von Körckhingen, reporting herald.

Their Excellencies received before them the citizens and emissaries of the Shire of Angels Keep, who presented Their Excellencies with gifts in gratitude for the support and service given to the Shire during Their Excellencies' tenure, and with well-wishes for a peaceful and restful retirement.

Their Excellencies received before them Don Benedict Fergus atte Mede and Lady Helene al-zarqa'. Don Fergus and Lady Helene thanked Their Excellencies for their service to the barony, and most especially for the support and encouragement offered by Their Excellencies to the rapier community of the barony. In gratitude for Their patronage, Their Excellencies were presented with fine scabbards worked of leather, each emblazoned with the personal armory of its intended bearer.

Their Excellencies called forth the following gentles, and in thanks for their many services and support during the tenure of Their baronage, presented to them gifts of chain bracelets and vials of rose water, distilled by His Excellency Baron Edward: Earl Sir Yngvar the Dismal, Countess Caryl Olesdatter, Lord Aidan Ransford, Lady Aleidis Lanen, Amber Younglove, Amalie Reinhardt, Baron Artemius Andreas Magnus, Baroness Clarice Roan, Lord Corwin Alexander Templeton, Lady Desiderata Drake, Meisterin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin, Lord Finnr jafnkollr, Lord Fridrich Flußmüllner, Garran Ó Murchadha, Marcus Claudius Cincinnatus, Margaret Grace, Lord Michael Gladewyne, Baroness Olivia d'Anjou, Ráðúlfr Eiríksson, Reinaldr bjórtappr, and Lady Svana in kyrra.

Their Excellencies then called forward Lord Bran mac Dímmáin and Lord Vilhjálmr Eðvarðarson, and thanked them for their unfailing support, hard work, dedication and almost complete lack of complaint during the three years of Their Excellencies' tenure. In gratitude, Their Excellencies gifted Lord Bran and Lord Vilhjálmr, with letters of credit to be exchanged upon demand for vestments to be made to order upon the design and desires of the recipient.

Lord Finnr jafnkollr was called forth. In recognition of his martial prowess, demonstrated in His Excellency's service and at His side upon the fields of contest and battled, Lord Finnr was made a Companion of the Order of the Millguard of Delftwood and bestowed with the rights and privileges pertaining thereto.

Their Excellencies called forward the members present that day of the Order of the Mistral, order of the spirit of Delftwood. Their Excellencies retold to the populace the history and meaning of this noble order, and noted to its members that there was one whose membership in the order was well-deserved, but which has not yet been proclaimed.

Meisterin Meisterin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin was called forward. In recognition of her many services to the barony, for her embodiment and representation of the barony, and in particular for the inspiration she gives to its members and friends, Meisterin Felicity was made a Companion of the Mistral and bestowed with all the rights and privileges of that noble order. Their being no further business before Their Excellencies, this Their final court was closed.
