The Tournament of the Windmill
Barony of Delftwood

Being the Report of the Court of Their Excellencies, Edward Harbinger and Anastasie de Lamoure, Ninth Baron and Baroness of Delftwood, held at The Tournament of the Windmill in Their Barony of Delftwood on the 30th day of June A.S. 47. Mistress Aheydis von Körckhingen reporting herald.

Their Excellencies requested the presence of any gentles for whom this day was their first event. Their Excellencies welcomed new-found friends and invited them to return to Delftwood soon.

Their Excellencies welcomed into Their court Lady Elinor Assheycombe of the Barony of Starkhafn in the Kingdom of Caid who presents gifts to both Their Royal highnesses and to Their Excellencies.

Their Excellencies called upon Their Heavy Weapons Champion, Lord Marcus Claudius Cinncinatus. As his term of office was now at an end, Lord Marcus was released from service and divested of the baronial sword and baldric. Their Excellencies thanked Lord Marcus for his protection and service and bid him swift return to the lists.

Their Excellencies called upon the Marshal of the Tournament, Lord Fridrich Flußmüllner , and bid him give word of the events of the day. Lord Fridrich announced the victors as Baldo and company and thanked all participants for the making the day a great success.

Lord Fridrich Flußmüllner was retained by Their Excellencies, whereupon They spoke of his victory at battle earlier in the day. In honor of his prowess and comprtment on the field, Their invested Lord Fridrich as the new Heavy Weapons Baronial Champion and bid him take his place upon the dais.

Their Excellencies called before them the Event Steward, Meisterin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin and bid her give report to the populace. Meisterin Felicitas thanked all those who had labored to the make the event possible, and menioned especially the efforts of Lady Faílenn ingen Chernaich and Amalie Reinhardt, Ministresses of the Lists, Master Cyneric Dracaheorte, Porter, and Feast Steward Baroness Olivia d'Anjou and her kitchen staff.

Their Excellencies called before them the Feast Steward, Baroness Olivia d'Anjou, and thanked her and her staff for a sumptuous and generous day board. Baroness Olivia announced that more food would be forthcoming and implored the populace to eat their fill.

Baroness Olivia d'Anjou was retained by Their Excellencies and bid stay a moment, whereupon They remarked that among the many honors bestowed upon this honorable lady, one was sadly absent. In honor of her many years of service to the Barony of Delftwood, it did please Their Excellencies to make Baroness Olivia a Companion of the Order of the Windmill. Drottinn Ráðúlfr Eiríksson was inducted, in absentia, into the Order of the Windmill for his many labors in service to the barony, and for the example of service he sets for House Hamilton. Scroll by Herr Fridrich Flußmüllner.
