Barony Wars and Bazaar IV
Shire of Sterlynge Vayle

Court Report of Their Excellencies, Artemius Andreas Magnus and Clarice Roan, Eighth Baron and Baroness of the Barony of Delftwood. Court held at Barony Wars and Bazaar IV in the Shire of Sterlynge Vayle on the 20th day of June, Anno Societatis XLIV in the presence of His Excellency Ulrich Drachendonner, Baron of Endless Hills and His Excellency Angus Kerr, Baron of Concordia of the Snows as reported by Lady Helene al-Zarqá.

Their Excellencies noted the moist weather, the amount of rain in the air.

With leave of the assembled Excellencies, Lord Robert O’Connor announced that war between Baronies was called off on account of rain, but there were still some tournaments fought.  Lord Deacon de Chatillion of Concordia of the Snows was the victor of the Baronial Heavy Weapons Champion Tourament.  Sir Magnus Tindel was the victor of the Populace Heavy Weapons Tournament.  Don Benedict Fergus atte Mede of Delftwood was the victor of the Baronial Fencing Champions Tournament.  Lady Deianeira Rodriguez y Aragonés was named best novice in the Arts and Sciences Competition.  Baron Angus Kerr of Concordia of the Snows was named the winner of the Baronial Arts and Sciences Champions competition.  Baron Artemius Andreas Magus of Delftwood was named best overall in the Arts and Sciences competition.  Prizes to all the winners were awarded.

Their Excellencies called before them Lady Marguerite de Neufchateau and some items she had in her possession.  Lady Marguerite spoke of the fledgling fencing program in the Shire of Sterlynge Vayle and the need for loaner gear to help newcomers get started.  Their Excellencies then requested the presence of Lord Robert O’Connor and Chernislava of Sterlynge Vayle to receive on behalf of the Shire of Sterlynge Vayle 3 masks, 2 pairs of gloves, and 3 doublets of different size as a gift from the Barony of Delftwood.

Their Excellencies invited Their Excellencies, Kire MacUrsus and Katherine Wert, Baron and Baroness of the Barony of Blackstone Mountain.  Their Excellencies of Blackstone Mountain spoke of the weather positively, in that it was merely rain and not snow.  Their Excellencies of Blackstone Mountain gave gifts from the Barony of Blackstone Mountain to the Baron and Baroness of Delftwood, the Baron of Endless Hills, and the Baron of Concordia of the Snows.  Baron Kire MacUrsus, speaking the native tongue of Southern Æthelmearc, then issued an invitation for all present to attend the Blackstone Raids even in April.  Baroness Katherine Wert translated for the assembled populace.

There being no further business, the court of Their Excellencies was closed.
