Here follows the report of the Court of Their Excellencies, Artemius Andreas Magnus and Clarice Roan, eighth Baron and Baroness of Delftwood. Court held on the 10th day of May, A.S. XLIII (2008) at their Martial Schola held in the Barony of Delftwood. Alheydis von Körckhingen, reporting herald.

Their Excellencies called forth those gentles for whom this was their first event. Their Excellencies presented them with tokens of welcome and hospitality and offered words of encouragement toward their future endeavors in the society.

Their Excellencies called forth the youth in attendance and noted their piqued appetites which were appeased with offerings of Their Excellencies' famous cookies.

Moniczka Elzbietka Poznanska was called forward. Their Excellencies spoke warmly of her generosity of spirit and talent, and of her service to the Barony, in recognition of which They made her a Companion of the Order of the Windmill. Éadaoin ingen Chanacáin was called forth. In her absence, Their Excellencies noted her service to Their Baronage and to that of their predecessor, Baron Oeric. In recognition of such, Their Excellencies made her a Companion of the Order of the Windmill. Scroll calligraphed and illuminated by Verederosa dal Sol.

Their Excellencies called forth Óláfr Þorvarðarson, who announced that the overall winner of the day's Heavy Weapons Tournament was Brother Baldo. Scroll calligraphed and illuminated by Helene al-Zarqa'.

Óláfr Þorvarðarson, his term of service as Heavy Weapons Champion being at an end, was divested of the regalia of that office. Their Excellencies spoke warmly of his enthusiasm and comportment and thanked him for his service.

Heero Himoura was announced as the new Heavy Weapons Champion and was invested with the regalia of that office. Their Excellencies directed him to the example of his predecessor, that he might serve with a smile ever on his face, and invited him to take his place among the protectors of the Barony. Their Excellencies called forth Felicity Flußmüllneren, who announced that the overall winner of the Arts & Sciences competition was Helene al-Zarqa'.

Felicity Flußmüllneren, her term of service as Arts & Sciences Champion being at an end, was divested of the regalia of that office. Being much relieved of that duty, she gleefully transferred the weight of the regalia to her successor.

Justin Lymner was announced as the new Arts & Sciences Champion and was invested with the regalia of that office, made by the hand of his predecessor, Felicity Flußmüllneren. Scroll illuminated by Gillian McGill, calligraphed by Jenn McGill.

Their Excellencies called forth Anastasie de Lamoure, who announced that the winner of the day's Thrown Weapon's Tournament was William Edwardson, who's victory reflected not only his prowess with the blade, but the stamina of his arm and the determination of his spirit. Their Excellencies thanked the populace for their attendance, invited them to feast in Their hall, and bid them safe passage homeward.

Their being no further business before Their Excellencies, court was closed.
