Children’s Event
Barony of Delftwood
Here follows the report of the Court of Their Excellencies, Artemius
Andreas Magnus and Clarice Roan, Baron and Baroness of Delftwood. Court
held on the 21st day of July, A.S. XLII (2007) at the Delftwood
Children’s Event. Court heralded by Helene al-Zarqa'.
Their Excellencies enquired if the children enjoyed themselves during
the day. The children loudly affirmed they did. His Excellency pleaded
hard of hearing, so enquired again. The children more loudly and quite
vociferously responded in the affirmative.
Their Excellencies called forth Lady Yang SuGyong and Lady Petronilla
Goodwin, autocrats for the event, to announce the winners of the day’s
contests as follows:
Sack Races: Billy
Croquet: Emily, Meg, and Billy
Goose: Sarah, and Joseph
Youth Boffer Touranment Champion: Cameron MacTavish. Scroll scrivened

Youth A&S/Knowledge Champion: Meg of Delftwood. Scroll scrivened

Helping Hands award: Stuart of Delftwood. Scroll scrivened and
illuminated by Verederosa del Sol.
Bardic: Stuart of Delftwood and Meg of Delftwood. Scroll scrivened,
illuminated, and wording by Lady Helene al-Zarqa'.
Their Excellencies also welcomed all the children who participated in
the bardic competition, and each of the children who competed was given
tokens of appreciation by Her Excellency Clarice. The children who won
the contests were given a prize from the many donated.
Their Excellencies then asked to see the autocrats of the event, Lady
Yang SuGyong and Lady Petronilla Goodwin, and the feastocrat for the
event, THL Moniczka Elzbietka Poznanska, and gave warm thanks and
appreciation for their service, and presented each with a token of
thanks.
Their Excellencies then most sneakily called forth Lord Edward
Harbinger who then called into court Lady Helene al-Zarqa'. Their
Excellencies spoke of her dedication to dancing, the bardic arts,
autocratting, and general service, and made her a Companion of the
Order of the Capstan. Scroll to be forthcoming.
Their Excellencies again called forth Lady Yang SuGyong and spoke of
her dancing, fighting, enthusiasm, and welcoming nature. They then
called forth those Companions of the order of the Windmill present, and
induced Lady Yang SuGyong into that order. Scroll scrivened and

There being no further business before Their Excellencies, their court
was closed.
