Court Reports of the Barony of Delftwood
Oeric
December 17th AS 40
(2005)
Baronial Yule Revel
Canton of Angels Keep
Here follows the report of the Court of His Excellency Oeric, Seventh
Baron of Delftwood, held on the 17th day of December, Anno Societatis
40, in the common reckonning AD 2005, at the Baronial Yule Revel. Court
was heralded by THLady Alheydis von Körckhingen. Report by THLady
Alheydis von Körckhingen, Windmill Pursuivant.
His Excellency gathered the youth of the barony. His Excellency
informed them of rumors circling about of a fierce beast threatening
the safety of His populace. As His Excellency was charging the children
with the task of the barony's protection, a great bear bounded upon the
assembled populace. With speed and valor, the children of Delftwood
vanquished the bear with well-aimed stones. In gratitude for their
courage and skill, His Excellency presented each child with a scroll
befitting their deeds, and gave payment to each in edible coin.
Raymond James Newkirk of Angels Keep was then called forth before His
Excellency. His Excellency spoke warmly of Raymond's fine reputation
and deeds of kindness. His Excellency then presented unto Raymond a
scroll commending his honorable and chivilrous nature, and holding him
up as an example for others to follow. Scroll by Lady Gilliane McGill.
There being no further business, the court of His Excellency was closed.
