Barony of Delftwood
Here follows the report of the Court of His Excellency Oeric, Baron of
Delftwood, held on the 25th day of September, Anno Societatis 39, in
the common reckonning. AD 2004, at the Tourney by the Sea. Court was
heralded by Lady Petronilla Goodwin and seconded by Helene
al-Zarqá. Report by Lady Alheydis von Körckhingen, Windmill

His Excellency recognized the service of those who served as gate
guards for the kingdom of AEthelmearc during Pennsic War XXXIII: Lord
Artemius Andreas Magnus, Lord Benedict Fergus atte Mede, Lady Alheydis
von Körckhingen, Lord Aidan Ransford, Duncan and Tashi, . Those
present were gifted with tokens made by His Excellency, Lady Catherine
O'Herlihy, Helene al-Zarqá and Dennis.
His Excellency recognized the artistic talents and service of those who
helped create note cards for the royal gift baskets for Pennsic XXXIII:
Baroness Jennet the Gentle, Baron Rian Gortyroyan, Lady Catherine
O'Herlihy, Lady Julian de Ver and Helene al-Zarqá. Those present
were gifted with tokens made by His Excellency.
His Excellency recognized the entertaining contributions of those
Delftwoodian pursuing the study of Morris Dancing: Baroness Jennet the
Gentle, Baron Rian Gortyroyan, Lady Catherine O'Herlihy and Helene
al-Zarqá. The dancers were presented with "Rulers of Music" with
which to practice their art.
His Excellency recognized the many years of dedicated service of Lady
Catherine O'Herlihy as Delftwood's chronicler. Accepting Lady
Catherine's resignation of this post, His Excellency welcomed Helene
al-Zarqá as the barony's new chronicler, and wished her well in
her new office.
His Excellency called upon Lady Svana in kyrra to recognize the
entrants in the Arts & Sciences competition and to announce the
winner of the contest. Lord Justin Lymner was declared the winner, and
was presented with a goblet etched by Lord Artemius Andreas Magnus.
His Excellency called upon Lord William fitzWilliam to announce the
winners of the day's heavy weapons events. Baron Rian Gortyroyan was
declared the winner of the William Marshall event.
Duke Sir Morguhn Sheridan was declared the Tournament winner. Scroll

His Excellency thanked Lord William fitz William for his service as
Delftwood's Heavy Weapons Champion and received from him the vestments
and regalia of that position. Lord Mustafa the Red was then invested as
Delftwood's new Heavy Weapons Champion. Scroll painted by Gwenhwyvar

His Excellency then acknowledged the many milestone birthdays of
Delftwoodians this years. Those celebrating "Big 0" birthdays include:
Fenris McGill, Lord Mustafa the Red, Countess Caryl Olesdattir, Lord
Christopher Harper, Gyles de Blair, Lord Justin Lymner, Baron Rian
Gortyroyan, Lord Michael Gladwyne and Lady Petronilla Goodwin. His
Excellency presented the celebrants with a variety of unusual gifts and
playthings.
There being no further business, the court of His Excellency was closed.
